Dominican Republic: March 2010

This is a new and improved video montage about our trip taken in March 2010 to support Jay and Mely Munoz's ministry in the Dominican Republic. Jay's ministry includes planting churches in the sugar cane villages in the southeast part of the DR. He and Mely disciple young men and women in a program called the Timothy Project. He brings the men up to serve and pastor the church plants so that they are ministering to their own people. Many of the people on this trip support the national pastors and Jay's ministry financially and with much needed supplies. From taking the pastor's wives shopping for the first time, to spending a morning in an orphanage, to revisiting where the first church plant began 12 years ago, we had a very amazing trip. Jay also brought all of his churches together the Sunday we arrived to have a memorial service for my dad, who was Jay's co-partner in ministry. My dad loved the DR, the people, and those churches and we are so blessed that they wanted to honor Dad's life with such a beautiful ceremony. I feel so grateful that the Lord has allowed me to be a part of this ministry and I cannot wait to go back and see what He's doing in the DR!
